The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) functions as the umbrella organization for organizations of persons with disabilities (OPD) in Nigeria. Established to address the deficiency of legislation affirming the rights of persons with disabilities, JONAPWD seeks to combat the ongoing marginalization of persons with disabilities from societal participation.

We engage in collaboration with regional and international entities, such as the World Assembly of Persons with Disabilities (WAFOD), the Africa Disability Forum (ADF), the International Disability Alliance (IDA), and Disabled People's International (DPI).
